I can't remember what we did to do the migration when we set up the new version of autocad. So to get them back i was going to try the only way i knew how to get them back by using the content browser.
So with this station, it was used by some one who retired so another employee wanted to use this computer as it was a newer faster computer and when they went to log in with their profile some where along the way he lost all of his tool palettes. So the difference with this computer versus the other ones is that when we upgraded to the latest version we ran into this problem and then we were told of a migration option that we did on all the computers initially which brought the tool palette stuff with it. i assume our amount of blocks we were transferring all at one time was just too large where the computer couldn't handle it. After trying it several times it just kept freezing.
the problem we would run in to is as i am loading our custom blocks the computer would be working on the transfer and then freeze and never come out of it. I said re-load because we used to have the tool palettes on the previous version of auto cad so i just had to load it on the new one. so i would open the content browser and load in our palette tabs. When we would load a new version on of autocad onto our computer we would have to set up our system with the custom menus and tool bars and tool palettes.
